Welcome.

Im a visual artist and shape the look and feel of film, television, and immersive media through colour, light, and contrast. In my studio practice, I work with stone, exploring how form and meaning emerge.

About

Media & Entertainment

As a media technology engineer and colorist, my projects range from color grading commercials, independent films, and documentaries to the design and implementation of advanced workflows and pipelines for immersive media, including 360° VR and LED dome theatres. My work sits at the intersection of art and technology, integrating camera systems, color management, and post-production tools to capture and transform images into rich experiences. Over more than a decade, I've developed expertise in both traditional and cutting-edge film and video production, fuelled by a strong drive for innovation.

Now based in Vancouver, BC, I continue to explore and implement emerging technologies in post-production workflows and color grading, while also pursuing my studio work as a sculptor.

Sculpture & Design

My journey in sculpture began in Utrecht, Netherlands, apprenticing with my aunt and uncle, artist and stonemason turned sculptor, who opened a world of craft, material, and form to me, and taught me everything I know about masonry and the arts.

I've worked with different types of limestone, marble, granite and stoneware. I'm fascinated by perception, viewers, their surface-level interaction, and the depth, the imagined, that follows.

My practice and exploration continue across materials and techniques, from bronze casting to traditional dry stone masonry. While much of my work is solo, I’m happy to work with designers, artists, and masons on commissions, functional design projects, or experimental studies. Together, we can make art make us.
